The doctors lounge was inaugurated on 14th May 2009 by Sri J. Sathyanarayana, Principal Secretary, Medical Health & family welfare.
The function was held under the guidance of Dr. P. Sudershan Reddy superintendent of Niloufer Hospital.

Previous superintendents of Niloufer Hospital and various faculty members of the hospital attended the function. The lounge is well illuminated with reading tables, comfortable chairs, two Acs, many fans, coffee, tea and news paper provision.
